About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Claim Submission & AR Analyst. This role is critical in ensuring accurate claim submission, efficient payment posting, and effective denial management to maximize collections across our physical therapy practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit claims through Heno and Tebra (experience with both systems strongly preferred).
- Analyze payments and accurately post payments to patient accounts.
- Record and reconcile payments using Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
- Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and identify trends in reimbursement.
- Follow up on denials promptly, addressing issues to optimize collections.
- Collaborate with providers, payers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with physical therapy claim submissions (required).
- Prior experience in medical billing, claim submission, and AR analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Heno and Tebra platforms preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel for payment posting and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of denial codes, insurance processes, and payment posting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
