Requirements:
Knowledge of formatting and structure of legal documents
(declarations, briefs, legal citations). Write persuasive legal arguments in approved
format in support of the client’s position.
Responsibilities:
Review flagged evidence and past administrative law decisions.
Identify legal errors. Compose a written legal appellate argument based on law as it
applies to the specific facts of the case. Additionally, while a case is open, write letters
documenting legal problems in a particular case.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be familiar with administrative law,
specifically Title 38, as it relates to veteran disability benefit entitlement. Knowledge
of medical conditions is preferred. The ideal candidate will be familiar with how to
review medical evidence and compose cohesive legal argument in English to achieve
the desired result.
