Job Duties:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking transportation helper to assist our drivers with deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring smooth trip operations.


Duties and Responsibilities

****Intermodal/Container Knowledge.

· Manage and coordinate driver routes

· Pre-plan drivers schedule and appointments

· Monitor drivers load to ensure timely delivery

· Monitor real-time operations and address delays, breakdowns, weather disruptions or emergency response needs

· Assist drivers with any issues to meet high level of productivity

· Secure appointments for loads and empties

· Check availability

· Be able to multitask under pressure

· Direct any messages or issues to the appropriate department

· Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to scanning, emailing, assisting other departments

· Ensure the drivers are sending all required interchanges and pods

· Adress problems or requests and be able to provide solutions

Follow up on emails, with brokers/customers.

We need to create a pin # for entry to the Ports of Houston for each driver. When they are entering the port. 

picking up a load or dropping of an empty container.



Qualifications

· Bilingual- English and Spanish

· Dispatch experience

· Knowledgeable with Container work/intermodal

· College degree

· Freight forwarding experience

· Must be able to work Monday through Friday


Provide drivers the information they need. Email bols to them make sure they have the delivery orders for the loads they are on. Get load papers organized, to create an invoice for each load.



Education Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma
Good to have a Bachelor’s Degree
Good to have a Associate’s Degree

Skill Requirements:

Must have 0-1 years of experience in English and Spanish
Must have 0-1 years of experience in Intermodal/Container Knowledge
