ABS Project Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) projects, from planning to implementation and monitoring. They will coordinate with different teams and stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
2. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
3. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
4. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
5. Present regular updates to stakeholders and senior management about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
6. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
7. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in the financial industry, specifically with ABS projects.
3. Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. Knowledge of ABS, structured finance, and related financial regulations is essential.
