Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities

Status and Pay Changes: Collect information from the People Leader for the new position, new compensation (pay plan), effective date, reason for the change, and other employee information, and create the required documentation and send it to the People Leader for approval and route for other approvals (as needed) and employee signature.  Must be able to collect information via email form and transpose information into the required specific document.  Utilize judgment skills and provided matrix when items must be discussed with Delavan Holdings HR prior to being released from Human Resources.

Compensation Administration:  Collect internal and external market data, analyze and compare to current roles, and inform on variance and recommend changes.  Review and help create job descriptions to ensure the duties match the tasks performed and meet FLSA standards.  Build pay grades and pay structures.  Knowledge of commission pay a plus.

Employee Onboarding:

Workflow administration: Track and monitor successful completion on onboarding task. Email and communicate with new employee to ensure they understand the process. Communicate to HR and Manager of completion and concerns

New hire support: Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and concerns about their new role and the company

Record keeping: Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and concerns about their new role and the company

Process improvement: Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and concerns about their new role and the company

HRIS data collection and processing :

Updating data:  Utilizing the HRIS and updating fields such as position, job change, transfers, etc.

HRIS filing: Maintaining confidentiality and filing (electronically) various forms

General Updates: Updating records in the HRIS as requested

Other Duties:

Maintain high level of confidentiality

Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Discretion when handling sensitive information

Proficiency with Paylocity HRIS

Proficiency with spreadsheets and formula utilization 

Proficiency with the Google platform (email, sheets, docs)

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to maintain compliance

Other duties as assigned



Education Requirements:

Must have a High School Diploma
Good to have a Bachelor’s Degree
Good to have a Associate’s Degree

Skill Requirements:

Must have 1+ years of experience in HRIS (Paylocity a plus)
Must have 1+ years of experience in Confidentiality
Must have 1+ years of experience in Data Entry
Must have 1+ years of experience in Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have knowledge in Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
Nice to have knowledge in Understanding employment laws in the United States
Must have 1+ years of experience in Professional email communication
Must have 1+ years of experience in Spread sheet
Must have 1+ years of experience in Compensation knowledge
